The "Best" Coast!!!

I have been so busy, but having so much fun on my summer adventure out west! The weather and the scenery are just beautiful no wonder they call it the "Best" Coast! I have been all over the place learning my way as I go. I am truly grateful for all the inspiration and support from all my family and friends (old and new) thank you, thank you, thank you! I think this trip has helped me discover who I am as an artist and given me the courage to take chances and know that everything is going to be okay!

OC Market Place!

Wow! What an exciting weekend this has been. I made it through my first show out here on the west coast! I set up shop at the OC Marketplace Sat. and Sun. for Woodstock Weekend! I had so much fun and met some great people. I have to give a shout out to Vinny and Jen for all the help and support...I could not have done it without them (Thanks guys!)

New Designs

Lots of unexpected events and lack of time have been conspiring against me in getting my new designs ready to go live. But I did manage to get some photographs done before the sun disappeared today and hope there will be more sunshine in the next couple of days to finish the rest of them.

Back to Work!

I have taken a bit of a break this past week and caught up on some much needed work around the house! I am ready to jump back into my studio full force. My brain is exploding with so many new ideas that I can't wait to try. I have 2 shows coming up ...Lakewood Antique Market April 15,16, 17th and Art in Bloom (Johns Creek Art Center) April 30th. I will be posting some pictures a little later on in the week of some new designs...stay tuned!

Friends

This weekend was busy, but a great time shared with friends! I participated with my fellow "Soul Sisters" in a really neat little market in Woodstock.  Other than the 30 mph wind gust and a hellacious sunburn it was a great show! I met some really cool people and enjoyed the sunshine.

The other part of my weekend was spent celebrating with my dear sweet friend Kelly. We had a great time at a local lounge in Sandy Springs, Three Sheets. This is definitely a place to check out if you like that laid back, chilled out lounge vibe...it's like being somewhere off the Vegas Strip without leaving home! Kelly and I have been friends for 25 years and man what a great time we have had together! We definitely have some stories to share and then again some that we should probably just keep to ourselves!!

Anyway, I feel very blessed to have some wonderful friends who I know would be there no matter what and I thank god for them everyday...you know who you are!

Happy Weekend!!

                                                             

Sweet Friends... I am so ready for the weekend!

              I’ve had some busy days creating, working the shows and

the salon, homework, housework, etc...it can be exhausting!

The last few days I’ve made sure to get some good sleep and some good cuddle time with my boy's. Sometimes too much busy-ness in my life makes me less patient and makes it harder to cope, however

there is so much good and so much to be thankful for.

I’m sending out a big hug today and hoping you all have some rest and downtime planned for the weekend. I am doing a show at Woodstock Market this weekend with Soul Sisters, attending a friends 40th birthday celebration and spending time with family and close friends! Happy weekend to you all...

Great group of women...Soul Sisters

I have recently teamed up with such an amazingly talented group of women called "Soul Sisters" We are a group of 6 women that include handcrated jewelry artist and a salvage artist! We do art shows/festivals and have a spot at Lakewood Antiques Market the 3rd weekend of every month, we have several shows coming up this spring including : Woodstock Market and Scott's Antique Market Please check back for show details and more info on each of the artist!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

I have been busy creating some new pieces! Vintage Leather Cuffs and T Shirts. These are images I have created in Photo Shop and then transferred them onto leather that I cut from an old vintage jacket of my husbands! They are all hand stitched and embellished with crystals. I hope you like them...
